Artist's Description
Junkers Ju-52 D-AQUI "Berlin Tempelhof" of Lufthansa ready for departure at Oberschleissheim, after all flight checks and inspections were done. She is ready to roll, as soon as the historic Lufthansa Flag will be retracted. The imposant Radial engines and the fixed landing gear can be well seen.
About Riccardo Mottola

I am interested in photography, mainly traditional photography. I use film and manual cameras since I was 8 years old. My father photographs, my grand-father was a photographer and taught me the essentials of shooting and processing, my great-grandfather took pictures and I am proud to have and use his cameras. Today, in certain occasions, I side classic cameras with digital cameras, albeit I strictly use them without manipulation. Especially for aerial photography digital is an useful companion. I mark images strictly with the medium they were taken in. Black-and-white images are shot on film, developed by me and either scanned or printed by me.
