About Riccardo Mottola

I am interested in photography, mainly traditional photography. I use film and manual cameras since I was 8 years old. My father photographs, my grand-father was a photographer and taught me the essentials of shooting and processing, my great-grandfather took pictures and I am proud to have and use his cameras. Today, in certain occasions, I side classic cameras with digital cameras, albeit I strictly use them without manipulation. Especially for aerial photography digital is an useful companion. I mark images strictly with the medium they were taken in. Black-and-white images are shot on film, developed by me and either scanned or printed by me.

Great capture of this Italian Plazza showcasing the details of the architecture of the building! Love the string of holiday lights throughout than add a golden glow and magical mood to this street photograph.
Riccardo Mottola replied:
Thank you! The right moment at dusk offers to balance the Christmas lights with the still glowing sky!
