Great perspective and exposure Riccardo!

Riccardo Mottola replied:

Thanks Alan! Working in such light with slide film is always a smal challenge, but it repays for the richness of shades and colors. The engine was on display as quality of an overhaul shop, so everything was clean and fresh painted... this enhanced the shining.

About Riccardo Mottola

Riccardo Mottola

I am interested in photography, mainly traditional photography. I use film and manual cameras since I was 8 years old. My father photographs, my grand-father was a photographer and taught me the essentials of shooting and processing, my great-grandfather took pictures and I am proud to have and use his cameras. Today, in certain occasions, I side classic cameras with digital cameras, albeit I strictly use them without manipulation. Especially for aerial photography digital is an useful companion. I mark images strictly with the medium they were taken in. Black-and-white images are shot on film, developed by me and either scanned or printed by me.
