Beautiful! l/f.

Riccardo Mottola replied:

Thank you, Anees. The rareness of capturing such a weather while flying low with a plane adds uniqueness of these images and makes me fond of them.

Artist's Description

The yellow light of the sunset settles behind the mountains (Resegone) in this aerial view of the Val Brembana. The magic winter light offers a view over the mountains and over the haze of the planes the Alps can be seen. The unusal perspective form the plane offers a great depth of the different mountain formations.

About Riccardo Mottola

Riccardo Mottola

I am interested in photography, mainly traditional photography. I use film and manual cameras since I was 8 years old. My father photographs, my grand-father was a photographer and taught me the essentials of shooting and processing, my great-grandfather took pictures and I am proud to have and use his cameras. Today, in certain occasions, I side classic cameras with digital cameras, albeit I strictly use them without manipulation. Especially for aerial photography digital is an useful companion. I mark images strictly with the medium they were taken in. Black-and-white images are shot on film, developed by me and either scanned or printed by me.
